About the role

We're looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to design, build and maintain web applications and backend services. You'll work across the stack: building REST APIs with Java and Spring Boot, crafting responsive interfaces in React, designing MySQL schemas, and working with automation and data tasks. You'll collaborate closely with product and design to turn requirements into reliable, well-tested software.

What you'll do

  • Design and build scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Develop responsive, accessible front-end features with React.
  • Model data and design efficient MySQL schemas, queries and indexes.
  • Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and improve performance across the stack.
  • Work with the team on architecture decisions, estimation and planning.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field with at least 2 years of work experience or Master’s in Computer Science with 0 years of work experience.
  • Solid experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
  • Experience working with Frontend Frameworks like Angular & React (familiar with hooks, state management, component design).
  • Strong working knowledge of MySQL and relational data modelling (normalization, ER design, indexing).
  • Understanding of RESTful API design, authentication and web security basics.
  • Comfortable with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Exposure to Agile Software Development practices.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • Familiarity with unit and integration testing (JUnit, Jest, pytest).
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting or backend development.
  • Write Python scripts and services for automation, integrations and data processing.
  • Experience with microservices, caching or message queues.
